Graco and Summit Brewing team up to solve sticky problem

Summit Brewing needed a better way to seal its cardboard boxes, so Graco came up with a glue technology that solved its problems.

If they wanted to be "green" they would use the Marmite they produce along with the beer...

luzhishen "If they wanted to be "green" they would use the Marmite they produce along with the beer..." I think they wanted something that expedited their packaging process. Consider your suggestion! Picture a warehouse full of cases of beer glued shut, a brown mass of mice and rats chewing up the cardboard to devour the marmite. Looks more brown than green to me.

I read that some package closure systems use FOAMED hot glue, takes less glue, better adhesion and longer time to allow cardboard folding since foam held the heat better than a line of glue.
