MERS is a really bad idea. It is about time someone challenges the MERS system.

The next time you hear someone suggest that government functions be privatized think about this situation. Let's hope that the counties run this institutionalized theft scheme out of business. Sadly the rat b*asterds who profited from this won't see a day of jail time.
