Money grows on trees. Who knew?
Is there a $6.4 billion "Walker" tin coin?
200MM to repair the Hoan Bridge. Wow. I grew up in that neighborhood and there's a perfect example of building on the cheap and now it's costing a lot to repair. All the structural steel and many of the other supplies were bought in China. There has been structural problems with that bridge since the beginning. Now, the Wisc. Taxpayer is on the hook to fix it. Maybe the money will magically come in on one of the ships in the harbor.
