Check out some videos (Russian drivers apparently all have cameras on their cars' dashes), crazy stuff.

//Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the nationalist leader noted for vehement statements, said "It's not meteors falling, it's the test of a new weapon by the Americans." Hey Vlad! It's never wise to start drinking early in the day.

"It's not meteors falling, it's the test of a new weapon by the Americans," -- So why would everyone rush to assume it's the US that's testing new weapons? We're not the only 'Americans', technically. If you think about it, Canadians could be considered Americans, as Canada is in North America. And Central America citizens are, by definition, 'Americans', as are South American citizens... So, hey Mr. Vladimir Zhirinovsky, get it right, baby - and be more specific, eh? You could be upsetting a WHOLE lot of people with your statement there. ;)

I'm crossing my fingers that the big one finds its way to DC later today. Unfortunately it looks like Europe is the more likely impact site.

And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter...... Revelation 8:11..

"Most meteors burn up in the atmosphere, but if they survive the frictional heating and strike the surface of the Earth they are called meteorites."...And when the meteorites are big enough to wipe out life on earth as we know it, they are called "Mayans-were-rights."

"A meteor that scientists estimate weighed 10 tons (11 tons)". I winder what they mean? There are 3 "tons"- 2000 pounds called a ton or short ton, 2203 lbs called a metric ton or tonne which is exactly 1000 kg, and a long ton or gross ton used in the UK which weighs 2240 lbs. The writers and editors are not quite clear what their estimate really is. Bill G.

It would be a good idea to come up with a plan and try to destroy or deflect the next meteor like the one zipping by tomorrow, to see if we have any chance of deflecting a much bigger one that could destroy human life on earth. BTW, we should do it ourselves, because the technology required would have too much military value to any of our enemies to share. Bill G.
