What about the Town of Preston? Know one seems to care what happens to the tax base, ground water, blasting, and trucks that will be going up and down the townships roads at WHO'S expense. What is going to happen to the beautiful landscape of our township? At least when the county was in charge of these business men, they had some buffers and county rules to follow. Wake up people and look what is happening to your counties.

Some people rank having a job and a functioning economy higher on the priority list than a pretty view of the trees.

Take a look at it on Google earth, and you will quickly see this is a tempest in a teapot. The mine is only about 25 acres in size, and is located only a 1000 feet from US53, a major WI highway.
