The US Senate is dropping the investigation because they know it is a "witch hunt" based on heresay and no evidence.
To scumpointer, this story has nothing to do with the US Senate and your comments have nothing to do with the basis for the decision. Go back to your Bachmann for President meeting.....
The Iowa committee was balanced (3 Dems, 3 Repubs), although that important fact isn't in the story, so I congratulate them on a bipartisan decision.
I have to believe Sorenson and Bachmann are way too smooth for leaving clear and concise information for proving something they know is a violation of rules. A real basic question that isn’t answered: Did Sorenson receive payments or not? If so, from whom and why? There should be checks and FEC data to show this. If Sorenson received payments from any PAC in the amounts described then this should almost prove it. Just knowing little information on this, we have to imagine that Bachmann and Sorenson have rationalized that Sorenson deserves payment and could get quite creative on how to it.
It would be enough evidence for her to start screaming for impeachment if Pres. Obama had done the same thing.
Divine --- She seems to do the screaming without any evidence and is then not courteous to say "oh nevermind, I was wrong".
