We need to stop chasing after "Federal Dollars" for follies...I have sat in on discussions (LRT) where the topic was "we are going to lose these federal dollars." It is not free money and comes right out of our (and others pockets) and there needs to be thoughtful allocation of it. We have become the loan officers of our government and they are in serious default!

More stimulus for renewable energy, just like Obama said last night. Remember Solara, another another stimulus deal gone bad! Stop the maddness with our money. Let the free market decide.

From military to medicare to these smaller energy programs, the opportunists come out to gore the people of her tax dollars like jackals tearing off meat with impunity. It's so bad that for decades we see adds on how to partake in this dirty game (...and if you don't qualify for 100% Medicare payment for this motorized scooter, it's yours to keep for free...) and even have foxes guard the hen houses (Norm Coleman rubber stamped Chenney's Haliburton rather than demanding fair value). It's time to DO TIME for this nonsense, and maybe, just maybe we'd get fair service for our tax dollars. First up would be military contractors, next up hospital admins and their big pharma brethren. Last, double-dipping public employees. Scale their prison time according to the amount of damage done to the tax payer: CEOs rot in prison until their ilk get the message. But it seems we do just the opposite: go after the small guy, wink at the war lords of theft. I don't think government can survive this.

C'mon Tea Partiers, get on board. Here's a perfect example of gov't getting in the way of a Job Creator. Damn that Big Gummint.

Wherever there's "green" public money, there's fraud and waste. That's the one thing we know for sure.

I'm glad to hear that Swanson is looking out for these farmers! Hopefully they can get their money back.

@honeybooboo don't you mean whenever there's public money involed there's greed and waste? I don't think green has the market cornered on corruption, they just haven't been at it as long as other outfits that steal from the taxpayer.

I think the company should get some Obama (our) money. They have to promise to pay it back, let's see... will $500 million do for now?
