Edwards most recently played for the Atlanta Falcons. I love (sarcasm) how when there is a negative story about an ex-player the media always says ex-Viking and omits the most recent team he played for.

Boxing is all acting I guess.. who would've thought. Perhaps NFL is fake too.. after watching the Vikings Saints NFC Championship a few years ago, I was starting to think conspiracy theories. New Orleans Katrina disaster and wouldn't it be nice to win a Superbowl... hmmmm.. the reffing and all.. It's got to be set up. The Vikings need some good drama somehow and maybe they'll make it to the Superbowl next year. Frazier.. do you have a brother that might want to coach the NFL? Wait. that drama has already been done.

OMG, that is hilarious. I would feel bad for the people who paid to watch this but it is too comical.

Boxing is fixed?! I'm shocked!! That leaves pro wrestling as the last truly legitimate sport.

Ray Edwards is a legend in his own mind. I'll bet he's just thankful people are still talking about him.

What a bizarre story. I know almost nothing about boxing, but how in the world did this guy wind up in the ring in the first place? He was about a foot shorter than Edwards, and quite frankly looked like your average joe-sixpack who just rolled out of bed and put some boxing gloves on. Heck, I would have taken a dive too if I was him.

The wind force of Ray's massive fists must've been too much for the poor guy. I guess they are weighted while holding the millions the Falcons paid so he WOULDN't play for them

I know what happened, Edwards throws punches so hard the the wind actually knocked the guy out. :-)

The promoter is sorry for the guy? He's the one who called a 31-year-old, 0-3 boxer who hasn't weighed more than 206 for a bout and asked him to come get KO'd again. The promoter should apologize to the fans who paid money to see the garbage "fight" he matched.

Edwards has won 3 "fights" all against 3 men who have not won a single boxing match between them. Perhaps he would like to take on Joey Abell. THAT fight would probably end just as quickly.
