After 4 years he is now going to create jobs? Will it be more IRS people to police Obamacare?

callmeronFeb. 12, 13 7:14 AM

Facts: 1) Unemployment is higher today than the day Obama took office. Adding back the MILLIONS of unemployed workers who stopped looking for work out of frustration at their inability to find a job and who are no longer "officially" counted as unemployed, the true unemployment rate is around 11%, not the 7.9% "official" Obama-administration "seasonally adjusted" figure (the not "seasonally adjusted" official unemployment rate is 8.5% and that does not include all the dropouts). 2) Obama's average annual budget deficits total $1.274 TRILLION (first four years) compared to $251 billion under Bush for eight years. Bush had to pay for 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, Obama has had no such expenses. Obama's annual average budget deficits are MORE THAN $1 TRILLION HIGHER THAN UNDER BUSH and we have the WORST job market in generations as a result! 3) There are more MASS SHOOTINGS in America now since Obama took office than in the history of this nation. There was a mass shooting/killing spree in OAKDALE yesterday evening! Never before in history was America so full of random acts of mass shootings until Obama took office. Is it the bad Obama economy to blame? Is it Obama's philosophy that everyone is entitled to what other people have without working for it? It doesn't matter, the FACT remains that the United States is MUCH WORSE OFF today than the day Obama took office. The DAMAGE that Obama has done to this country economically, financially, and to this nation's social fabric will be FELT FOR GENERATIONS TO COME. Obama is an absolute failure of the worst kind. Just like everyone with a brain knew he would be.

The message the audience is sending on guns is don't act against the constitution, as your legislative proposals attemt to do. The state of the union is pretty precarious and I don't think he understands the level to which his administration is and continues to be responsible for making it moreso. A basic reevaluation needs to be made of the presidents course right from his office, it is sorely in need of a dose of refocus.

Jay Carney says Obama's No. 1 priority since taking office has been economy? Wow, I am amazed they are willing to admit his no. 1 failure is his no.1 priority. A complete failure is Obama. Now tonight we will get the same speech we have gotten for 5 years. Absolutely no substance, just class warfare rhetoric!

hfreegoFeb. 12, 13 8:02 AM

Hey, maybe tonight he will focus on steps that will get results, instead of scoring points with his enchanted followers. Or maybe not. I expect to hear frequent mention of the ambiguous "reasonable measures" for gun control and "their fair share" for the economy. Neither of which will provide the claimed goals of reduced violence or an improved economy. I sure hope Rubio steps up tonight.

Hey wait a minute. I thought the economy was fixed.

"Absolutely no substance, just class warfare rhetoric"

as Warren Buffet said there is class warfare and it's the wealthy that are waging it and they are winnning. We've had 40 years of disconnect between productivity and wages.

honeybooFeb. 12, 13 8:36 AM

When have we heard this before?

palsarFeb. 12, 13 8:47 AM

Wow, here we go again, laser-focused on jobs for another 4 years. The first 4 worked out so well. How many times will he say we need to raise revenue? Have a balanced approach? Fair share?

EleanoreFeb. 12, 1310:05 AM

I'm sorry, why the headline change? Why aren't you making this about guns anymore?
