Makes sense as UPS already has a large distribution center there so the strategy is known to work.

There's also no mention of any subsidies, expidited permitting, TIF requests or any public money being involved. If that's true it both bucks the trend, and does show people will build here without those extortive and lawless subsidies.

At least the titans of industry haven't figured out how to oursource distribution of goods (yet). Note, however, that many (most?) of the goods being delivered are made overseas. A country of services only can not survive economically.

"they could have settled in South Dakota or Wisconsin"... but that would have been inneficient and distribution costs would be prohibitive. This is a fine location and makes sense looking at shipping logistics.
