Lynx point guard Lindsay Whalen left her team in Turkey because of a contract dispute.

Lindsay Whelan was at the Wolves game tonight. Ricky Rubio went over and greeted her; so nice to see our two teams' point guards together. I know Rubio attended a lot of Lynx games last summer. It was great to see Whelan at the Wolves game and great to have her here in Minnesota. It is my fervent hope that the WNBA will soon be in a position to pay their players much better than they currently do. Watching the Lynx is a joy and it's only right that these phenomenal athletes and champions get PAID.

Its time for Whalen to become the new U of M women's BB coach. She wouldn't have a problem recruiting.
