How do we know that companies cannot layoff current employees to try to take advantage of the tax break?
This could affect other unemployed or future unemployed people it seems to me?
"How do we know that companies cannot layoff current employees to try to take advantage of the tax break?" ---- So you are telling us that a successful business person WILL lay-off a productive worker only to take advantage of a $3,000 tax break?
Until they mandate E-verify it will still be cheaper to hire fraudulently documented workers than to take the Vet Tax Break.
How about a tax break for hiring Americans?
It is wrong for government to create special programs for hiring ANYONE. Leave the hiring decision to the employer, period.
