The Democratic-led state House voted 71-56 to approve an expansion of the state's Medical Assistance program and take advantage of a federal promise to send billions to cover the full cost of the new enrollees for a few years. - Please remember, DEMOCRATIC-LED, and COVER THE FULL COST FOR A FEW YEARS! Once that is over, who will be funding this? All of us will, just wait until every one of your taxes go up and people are forced out of their homes because of the increases. That is a great DEMOCRATIC decision!
Why do we need both expanded Medicare anmd Mn Care?.... The tax payers will get raked over the coals on these two programs!
Serfdumb... great name. "Once that is over, who will be funding this? All of us will, just wait until every one of your taxes go up and people are forced out of their homes because of the increases." To answer your questions, after the first few years of full 100% federal funding, it is phased down to 90% (as opposed to 100%)... Right now the state share for MNCare is 50%-50%; now the state share will be only 10% of the cost; WE SAVE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS and EXPAND coverage! Everyone's health care premiums already pay a share for uncompensated care; now that care won't be uncompensated. Your taxes will not go up because of this law. Foreclosure rates have very little to do with taxes or healthcare. Nice try, though.
