St. Paul residents told tap water is safe

Most St. Paul residents no longer need to boil water because a broken water main that sent 1.75 million of gallons of water into Lowertown streets has been repaired, officials said Sunday.

Even though most water main breaks are caused by shifting soil and not a lack of spending on "infrastructure", I am waiting for somebody to blame former Governor Tim Pawlenty for this. I know you are out there.

Are sodium fluoride, chlorine and various other petrochemicals ever really safe? Saint Paul water tastes like gasoline.
