What other star would play a song to close out his own tribute that basically pokes fun at himself and his fame? Truly a remarkable guy.

So Bruce Springsteen auctions off an autographed guitar when he has HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars in the bank? Why doesn't he give HIS OWN money away. Look for some pictures of Springsteen's mansion sometime. This guy makes upwards of $2 million for one concert in ticket and merchandise sales. And don't you love how Springsteen is quoted as saying "so dig in one-percenters" when he has more money than 99.9999% of the population? Hypocrisy.

Springsteen is clearly one of the greatest rock and rollers of all time. His concerts are second to no one. His charity work is legendary - every single one of concert

callmeron: Springsteen has given money (and time) to many causes big and small over the years. That "$2 million per concert" (how do you know that?) also includes paying for his band, its technicians and the crews that organizes, transports and sets up its tours. Hypocrite? Somehow I think you are just another little right wing troll who hates Bruce because he commits the cardinal sin of Republicanism -- he's not a right wing Republican. And meanwhile, many other rich people are quietly donating to causes like gun nuttery, religious zealotry and teabaggery (and keeping those donations a secret) so they can send little trolls like you to vote for the Bachmanns, Steve Kings, Louie Gomerts and Paul Ryans.
