i did not have the opportunity to watch the game tonight...was following the game late on ESPN updates when I noticed the Wolves leading in the fourth quarter.. I half hoped finally there would be a win..But, as usual, the other teams superstar or best player always beats the Wolves by himself. Sometimes, like football, I just kind of wish that that other teams stud would be given an elbow or some kind of physical "bump" to slow him down.. Evidently, Carmelo got hot, predictably, without probably anyone even touching him or getting in his face.. I also noticed the horrid 3 point shooting in the box score..Almost impossible for even crappy teams to have this kind of horrible homestand and lose in all manner of ways.. whether coming from behind furiously or losing a lead in the end..depressing and annoying..this franchise continues to be one of the most pathetic in all of professional sports..

The Wolves weren't derailed by Anthony. They were derailed by their own shooters, who couldn't make a basket. One for thirteen 3-pointers doesn't cut it in the NBA.

Some of the worst clankers thrown up by "professionals" that I have ever seen. no clutch baskets, no clutch free throws, no nothing.

I like Adelman...but you have to questions some coaching decisions in this game, especially late. Why in the world were JJ, Luke, and Rubio out on the court at the same time? JR Smith was abusing them. Also why did we stop going into Pekovic on the block? We were relying too much on jumpers and this team is horrid at shooting. Maybe the most inept shooting team I've ever seen in the NBA

i am curious as to why ridnour had the ball late in the game? its not like he is going to get a foul, he isnt good enough to get a foul, in the nba refs mind that is, the refs ruin this game, the timberwolves are just BAD i dont care what anyone says about this comment its true. kahn has done a terrible job with the drafts and yeah even some of the signings as well no shooting guard for the past 3 years? thats pathetic, if this team moved i guarantee no one would care.

Easy people. We've only lost 14 of 16 games. In years past, that would be a successful stretch. Look at the bright side. We could have won a lot more games if healthy. This is a lost season with all the injuries. They played well for a short handed team, and Williams looks like he is blossoming. He had a great game tonight, and the foul by him against Anthony late in the game actually should have been for Williams, as Anthony elbowed him like crazy, and was fading away after elbowing Williams when the foul was called in his favor. The refs once again turned a blind eye to the Wolves, and favored New York. They must have had money on the game.

I agree the coaching was somewhat lacking in this game. Why were there no double teams against Anthony? He was left one on one the whole game and toyed with us. An 11 point lead should not have been surrendered so easily. Pek barely touched the ball the entire second half. Our bread and butter the whole game was scoring in the paint, so what do we do? Rely on jump shot after jump shot to finish the game, and meekly give the game away. A little adjustments by the coach could have won this game.
