Minnesota ranks near bottom in pet ownership

Minnesotans love our pets, but not in nearly the same numbers as folks in most other states.

I dont think in necesarily means we dont love pets as much. I am in an area of Minnesota where it is about impossible to find a landlord who will let me own so much as a goldfish. The rare ones I did find wanted extreme amounts for pet deposits and pet rent, It seems almost impossible in this state to own a pet unless you own your home.
