Get on with the vote! Hagel was on the short-list for VP in McCann's 2008 run. McCann and Lindsey Graham have to get over this political crap.
Senators Christopher Dodd and Joe Biden encouraging a no vote on cloture for the nomination of John Bolton. Senate Democrats (including Senators Obama, Biden, Clinton, and Kerry) twice voted en bloc against cloture on the Bolton nomination, preventing his confirmation as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. They did so because they were denied certain information they deemed necessary to judge Bolton's fitness for the position, and therefore acted "to protect the Senate's constitutional power to advise and consent to nominations."Now we have a double standard??

Senators Christopher Dodd and Joe Biden encouraging a no vote on cloture for the nomination of John Bolton...."Now we have a double standard??" Bolton was totally unqualified. His stated main goal was to bring down the UN, not work within its peacekeeping role.
Specifically, the Republican senators want Hagel to disclose whether any of the eight organizations and businesses he was affiliated with after leaving the Senate in 2009 received money from foreign sources. = Much like the info we wanted from Romney.
