Rudimentary offense yet again. Does anyone think that kind of half-court offense is good enough? 6 points in the first 14 minutes of the game? 2 points in a 7 ½ minute stretch in the 2nd half. Wow!!! Minnesota is the only team in the Big 10 that goes double digit minutes with barely any points, game in and game out. If Tubby is here next year it will be an absolute shame.

Fire Tubby. Can't develop players, can't develop scorers, and most of all can't play defense.

Austin Hollins and Joe Coleman are painful to watch. They need someone to step up its going to be a short season.

Another sub 500 conference record for a supposed big time" coach. this should be the end for Smith. Is the Board of Regents watching this?

Minnesota has no offensive identity. Face it...they aren't an inside offense, they don't shoot three's unless the clock shot is at zero, they don't penetrate. What are they known for offensively? They should shoot three's every possession. Hit 3 of 10 and use their offensive rebounding on their misses. That would be a massive improvement over this 8th grade garbage.

I am officially off the bandwagon with Tubby and his lack of coaching an offense and fundamentals. Yes, the team is 17-6 now but what are they in the past 7 games and worst, how have they played (esp on offense). Turn the volume off and watch... watch and see the body language. Watch their lack of offensive collaboration and how one of two things happen: a) pass the ball around the 3 point perimeter with an occasional pass in the paint and wait until the last 3 seconds to make a move (one-on-one) or b) shoot from afar having exhausted 3 to 5 seconds and one and done. I have been critical of Tubby from the get go for the little things that his teams have ignored (free throw, blocking out, shoot selection and driving to the hoop - drawing in D players and dish it off DISCIPLINE and HABITS. I am sick and tired of Tubby's style of play. I am done. I do not care anymore ... I hope they go 0-whatever and Tubby gets an exit package at season's end. DONE!

I don't care about the overall record, just the conference one. And tonight was a PATHETIC Big Ten shooting performance by the Gophers.

Just another awful, mistake-filled, poor-shooting performance in a Big Ten season that's rapidly filling up with them. The Gopher guards do one thing reliably: turn the ball over. The team as a whole does two things reliably: miss shots and give up threes. I can only shudder to think how terrible this team will be next year without Mbakwe.

Another masterpiece by the worst coach in the B1G. 5 minutes into the game most of the starters are on the bench. There was a stretch they literally had no one on the floor that could score, even the announcers couldn't figure it out. Same old thing get a 5 point lead and that last about 60 secs. Can't run an offense, Can't make ft's, Can't defend the perimeter and throw the ball away. I seriously wonder if Tubby is committed to win here and hoping that he gets fired so he can take his 2.5 mil buyout and leave. By watching how he coaches this is the only conclusion I can come up with.

Can't shoot, we can't shoot, we just can't shoot the ball when we need to. Andre hollins and Coleman (again with this kid), failed to make some big shots when we desperately needed them to fall. Ugly, ugly basketball. Tubby what are you doing to this team? He not building the program, She me some toughness.
