The Wolves had no answer for Tony Parker and Danny Green, who kept the Spurs rolling without two injured mainstays.

Adelman is a D League coach in comparison with Pops. His game "adjustments" are a day late and a dollar short, and his unwillingness to experiment with different lineups is tiresome. I'd love to see a tape of the game AND of Adelman and Pops coaching during the game. It's a complete mismatch and the tape would show Pops on top of the action and Adelman...

snoozecruise Adelman is a D League coach? Your statement is pretty poor at best. Look at what Adelman has done in this league, if he is D League then I would advise you to get off the drugs. Yes there are better coaches, but look at the talent on this team, and without Love, wow not his fault completely. Kahn needs to go that is for sure, Porter is not a coach in my opinion, need some people on your staff that know how to make adjustments and coach. Scouting has been pretty poor for this organization. They are in bad shape. Trade Love for some value, he will leave anyway and he has an ego that is bigger than his talent.

tonymitch03, certainly it's not ENTIRELY Adelman's fault. As far as his record goes, he has his wins, yet he is, IMO, rigid, a poor game coach, locked into his system, and unwilling to experiment with different lineups. Why not experiment this year, since injuries are obviously a big factor, the biggest factor, in terms of the Wolves losses? Against Pops, Adelman's limited abilities really stand out. We have a limited roster that could use good coaching. Pops would be getting more wins and smarter play if he were our coach, even with all the injuries. I agree, Porter is not head coach material. As far as drugs go, I only take placebos--and they work!

Any player plays against the timberpuppies will have a career night. The coach sucks and so is the rest of the team.

Parker is in rare form and tough to stop. Too bad the Wolves couldn't put a worthwhile defender on Green. That cost them the game. Pops has a great system going with fundamental basketball. This is not a morale victory for the Wolves, but they looked good at times. Pek is a beast. They better find a way to sign him because other teams will throw the money truck at him to get him, and even that will bounce off of him. Lakers might be willing to deal Gasol now since he is injured...how about D. Williams, Brandon Roy, Malcom Lee and some spare parts? I wish. Hey, Minnesota sports teams got the Hat trick tonight, Goofers, Wild and the Wolves, all losers. Who cares, it's only a game.

Wolves are lucky to have Adelman, he's a very good coach.

You'd have to include at least another $5 million salary along with Derrick Williams and BRoy just so you could absorb Gasol's $19M salary and at that kind of money, unlikely anyone would trade for him unless they were certain plantar fasciitis isn't going to linger or end his career unlike it has done to others.

Snooze-it could be Adelman (I doubt it) or it could be that their starting guards outscored our starting guards 59-19. I think it was the latter. We all got to see what a max contract point guard looks like. Unfortunately he wasn't on our squad.

Total thumbs up on your points regarding Pec, Gasol, and Adelman, Slamman. One comment on Gasol: The Lakers don't have much leverage with Gasol's age, injury, and salary, and they need to eat some of his salary for this year and next year (if that's allowed) to make a trade work with anybody.
