Would not the allowing of gay scoutmasters and leaders not be a violation of the Boy Scouts of America's "youth protection" program? Yes it would. There really is and there should be no debate concerning this issue. The Boy Scouts should maintain their policies over the decades and not bow to our cultures immoral beliefs. The Boy Scouts of America over the decades have had a clear reputation of being at least in part a faith-based organization. In today's era of Obama and his stand on gay rights weak Churches are now bowing the knee in favor of "pleasing man and not pleasing God" and ignoring what Scripture says in the name of tolerance. The leaders of the radical gay-rights movement do not want tolerance but absolute acceptance in every part of society including faith-based ones. If Pastors, Rabbis and others of faith do not stand for the Scripture they supposedly believe then they are not true men and women of God and are doing a great disservice to God and man by choosing the culture over the Creator. True people of faith do not hate homosexuals or others that need salvation. That is also a violation of Scripture but the church has basic standards that it must maintain because our first loyalty is not to the culture, not to the government, not to the state but God alone.
