I saw Raye Birk's performance last night and it was fantastic. He's a great choice in the role!

I really wish there were some better priorities over what was headline news. Who knows who this person is? Our economy is falling apart and we are concerned about a theater?

Kruelc, there are thousands of people who know who Peter Michael Goetz is. If you are so concerned about the economy, why read the entertainment news?

bizsmith - this article was actually one of the 3 rotating front page articles earlier this afternoon. If it simple appeared only in entertainment, that would be more than acceptable. However, when there are likely more unemployed people than there are people who knew an actor, we have other topics that are more important. With the economy in the state that it is currently in, NO entertainment article should appear as a headline - even Hollywood is NOT that important.

Peter Michael Goetz was one of the most talented actors on stage at the Guthrie. I saw him in both "Sunshine Boys" and "Long Days Journey Into Night". Choosing Ray Birk to replace him was sweet, given their roles together in "Sunshine Boys" this past summer. Wish the best for Peter!
