No one cares about NDSU in Minnesota? Over 50% of NDSU is Minnesotans and they win national titles and beat kansas Minnesota Colorado st. You gopher fans can only hate and be jealous of NDSU s success. Top 5-6 stars at NDSU are Minnesota kids!! You keep hating, NDSU will keep winning

I am from Minnesota and I care about NDSU. They know how to run a program.

The Big 10 should just let NDSU in. They are already beating up on BCS teams like DII schools. Relegate the U to FCS and promote NDSU to the BCS. What's even scarier, is NDSU was ranked as one of the top 25 schools in the FBS even though they play in the FCS. Now, with Kill at the helm at the U, not a chance they will play NDSU again. He just wants soft teams to play against to try to get to a bowl game. You want to get into a bowl game, fine. You want to test your team, and see really where they are? Play NDSU.

Ok, without doing an internet search name players from any of these 4 schools that made it to the NFL. Right, Jimmy K. That's the easy one. Now name some Gophers that made it to the NFL. Yep, that's a lot easier.

footballubet- Without doing an internet search: Joe Mays (NDSU) was a STARTING LB for Denver this year before an injury knocked him out. Matt Veldman was signed as an undrafted TE by Jacksonville. And the article mentions Stacy Robinson playing for the Giants. That's just off the top of my head.

I forgot about Craig Dahl. I knew there was another starter I forgot. I don't think NDSU should be FBS or in the Big Ten. But as a Michigander living in Fargo I say this: There's no way that ANY Gopher fan should be looking down on NDSU, or SDSU for that matter, right now.

"What's even scarier, is NDSU was ranked as one of the top 25 schools in the FBS even though they play in the FCS."---No, they weren't. And don't bother coming here and complaining about non-conference strength of schedule. NDSU played Prairie View A&M and Robert Morris this year. Nobody is impressed by their "signature" victory over a 4-win Colorado State team.

This article is long, long overdue. Despite its success as a revenue-raiser, the Gophers are scared to play NDSU. Why? Because it obliterates all of the U's excuses for its pathetic program. NDSU has a better team. That's no longer up for debate. It has more Minnesota kids than the Gophers do. They have a less expensive stadium and facilities. Their conference doesn't have its own cable network. And their college is in a cold windswept town with much less nightlife. Until the Gophers can go up to Fargo and beat the Bison, they're wimps.
