Though the Gophers' incoming class is ranked last in the 12-team Big Ten, analysts see an upward swing in the talent level.

Coach 'em up Country Jer. It's the only way to finish 6-6. After 3 years, I'm still waiting for that 1st 4-star. You have a year to hold on to Jeff Jones.

actually, Troy S. was first-team all big-10 as a junior. hopefully, this turns out to be a good recruiting class. Jerry kill might not admit that he likes stars, but there's not much else that can be said until you get a few.I noticed the article he other day about the 4 star kid who just committed for next year. That seemed to make a big story. That said, it does seem like he filled some holes and you never know how good a player will be until they get on the field.

A talented athlete would be crazy to sign with the Gophers in football or basketball.

The 2008 class was the perfect example of how inexact the fantasy "science" of recruiting analysis is. The suckers who want to pay for such "expert analysis from part time pizza salesmen deserve what they get for their money.

All that matters is how many Big Ten wins we have next year. 2-6 is not acceptable. 3-5 is passing OK, assuming we're not completely blown out against the better teams. 4-4 would show that Kill's plan is working. It will be Kill's third year and it's time to see results.

No Surprise. And guess what...for the next 4 years or more the Gophers will finish in the bottom half of the big ten. Recruiting, while not a completely accurate gauge of future wins or losses, does a reasonably good job of weeding out the good from the bad. And the Gophers are VERY BAD. Thank Jerry for yet another disappointment.

lol, these losers need to be kicked out of the Big Ten. North Dakota would do much better.

To last place with a bullet? How do these Minnesota teams and their management sleep at night? They should be riddled with guilt and shame. If a student can play ANY sport, they are insane to come to Loserville. On Wed. be sure to have them fill out their I. D. 10T form before handing them their goofer colors.

Considering how the U works, if they finish anything better than last in the Big 10 Kill should get a raise and extension. Shouldn't be a problem since they are paying talented non conference teams to not play them.

What an embarrassment. Cut Kill loose and hire a Big Ten worthy coach -look out West -theres tons of talent on Pac Ten coaching squads.
