The Wild dug itself a 2-0 hole and couldn't complete a comeback.

9 points in 9 games. Last year: 81 points in 82 games. Doesn't sound much better.

Behold, the Wild team we've come to love and cherish.

Apparently the rest of the team was under the impression Parise was brought in to do all of the scoring. Just pathetic.

Clutterbucks lazy clearing attempt lead to first goal; Brodziak absolutely biffs a short handed breakaway; once again the 2nd line is almost invisible; and we're still waiting for Heatley to get tough in front of the net..and still winless on the road.

I think questions of Yeo and this "system" we keep hearing so much about need to be asked. Is it jamming a round peg into a square hole expecting your players to do something they're not accustomed to, or is Fletcher's fault for rostering players that clearly don't trust their coach?

No finishers (other than Parise)=no scoring. Not much winning, either. Of course the rest is nothing new: outchanced, outhustled, outshot, etc. Same garbage. Relying on basically one guy to score and carry your team is a recipe for more rounds of golf in April, which is status quo for this team.

I was impressed with Koivu and Suter's ability to pass the puck back and forth on the power play for 2 minutes.

Who is this Heatley character everyone speaks of, anyway?

This team has no idea how to run an attack under Yoe. Time to bring in a new coach.

Is it just me, or is the Wild's first move in the offensive zone always to get the puck in the corners? Ironically, the defensive team's goal is also to get the puck in the corners if they can't get it out of the zone. PHX scored both goals simply by getting the puck on net. I don't know why the Wild doesn't shoot and crash the net.
