The utter disregard for women's intelligence and the sanctity of the physician/patient relationship for women is staggering. These legislators are so intent on protecting a fetus that cannot survive on it's own to the detriment of the host/incubator that they will do anything to prevent a woman from making her own decisions, at any cost. It's too bad that these same legislators don't give a hoot about that fetus once it develops, is born and needs food, medical care and education. They need to get back to the real work they've been elected to do. I mean it.
