shushyn78 - considering Nagins has an arraignment this month I assume he is too busy preparing his defense to be pulling a stunt like this.

let's say this was a typical near-big-city sized load in one building. give or take 20 kilovolt 3-phase enters the building, goes to a transformer vault, and a big ol' 3-phase feeder at 408 volts or similar comes out. this is chopped and fed all over on building power panels. typically, emergency power is now controlled by several relay panels full of sensors and is pawed over thousands of times a second by the computerized power controller tied to the generator bank. if that computer swallows its tongue and falls over, this is what it looks like.

The writer said that he had been to lots of high school football games and it never happened at those, why should it happen during the biggest sporting event in the US? Hard to wrap your head around that kind of logic.
