You can pass all the laws you want but enforcing them will be another matter. Kind of like the laws they don't enforce now. Address the problem and leave the law abiding alone. That pic of O shooting the gun is photoshopped. Modern firearms with modern powder don't smoke like that and the porting looks off. That's the smoke coming out the top of the barrel. Plus there doesn't appear to be reaction to the recoil. It's a poor shop job performed by some admin genius who knows squat about firearms. C'mon Mr Obama, have your detail take you out and shoot some Sigs and an M4.

Will he pose for another fake picture of him firing a gun that that billows like a smokestack, when modern guns use smokeless powder?

He is for gays, so he picks an openly gay sheriff to start his "campaign". I wish someone would show him how to balance a checkbook or write a budget, stop spending, create jobs and not borrow money. He picks any "cause" to get involved in except running the country.

And the smoke and mirrors continue. Anemic economy, who cares? What skyrocketing debt? Oh, but we can devise some laws to target those evil "assault" weapons that are responsible for less than 4% of all gun-related murders in the United States on a given year. Brilliant. You can't make this stuff up.

Littlebigboy---Money that could be spent in a better way.---Or money that could be saved. BTW, will any members of our crack media ask him why the Dept. of Homeland Security is stockpiling guns and ammo?

Chicago is proof that gun control emboldens violent criminals. El Presidente Obama's Chief Sophistry advisor, David Axelrod, was on MSNBC's Morning Joe. As a liberal political strategist based out of Chicago, he was asked to explain how the city with the strictest gun control laws can be the murder and gun violence capital of the country. His answer? "Chicago proves that gun control laws aren't tough enough in surrounding states." Despite the absurdity, don't expect the press to focus too intently on Chicago, its gun control laws, its gun violence, or the absurdity in liberal explanations like that provided by Mr. Axelrod.
