This team has no organized offense. They don't set picks, they don't try to help each other get open. They all stand around while the ball gets passed around at the top. This is a very basic fundamental baskeball process that Tubby can't seem to coach. Time for Tubby to only recruit and get an offensive guru to take over the gametime coaching. Good leaders always help that offsets their weaknesses. Offense is Tubby's weakness.

Was surprised how much of a non-factor Trevor was. Can usually count on him to bring the most passion. Good to see Austin back on track, because he's the most heady player we have and key going forward. An ugly win, mainly because Iowa played so hard, but huge "W" anyway. Now we need to steal one on the road that we're not expected to get.

Not pretty by any means. Take the W and move on.

Should not have been close. Hope they gel soon.

This game was utterly ridiculous! There was no offensive scheme. Even the Big Ten TV announcer commented on the unorganized offense Minnesota shows. The Iowa players are not that athletic compared to our players yet Iowa should have won this game. Austin Hollins is a good player and that was why we won. We did not win because Orlando drew up the play. My feeling is if Mr. Smith would get out of these players way and let them play, we should have won this game by at least 20 points! Sorry, but we won in spite of Tubby, not because of him. We will probably be lucking to win 20 games this year.

Inconsistency is the hallmark of the Gophers; you never know what you're going to get from each player on any given day. Austin saved the season after Coleman spent the game trying to give it away. Very disappointing how they're playing right now.

"After Iowa’s Roy Marble negated a late Joe Coleman turnover.....". I believe Roy is Devin's dad and he played about twenty years ago.

Coleman needs to learn to hold on to the ball. Is Flip Saunders available to be a consultant? Someone has to come in and teach this team how to run an offensive and rotate the ball.

@ringneck1 - Actually, it is Roy "Devin" Marble Jr. so the statement is accurate. But Roy, Sr. did play for Iowa a couple of decades ago.

@ringneck1 - Actually it is Roy "Devyn" Marble. His first name is Roy. Devyn is his middle name.
