Boehner can't persuade the Tea Party to pay attention. He has all of the leadership capabilities of a pound cake.

"They that sow the wind, shall reap the whirlwind" and the antics of the GOP for the last ten years come home to roost.

I have a feeling that Boehner's victory over the radicals will be short-lived. True-believers think compromise is a dirty word. They obviously don't care about America or the next election. Only their own warped ideology. We'll see what happens in 3 months when they have the chance to destroy the economy again.

With comments like "army to army" and "sniper to sniper" I guess it's pretty clear the the Republicans see themselves at war with the White House. But, of course, if you listen to them it's all Obama's fault that there is such a partisan divide and lack of compromise.

And the tGOP thinks kicking the can down the road for 3 months is good decision making? Shutting down the government for a few days is a GOOD idea??? They just plain can't govern and don't have a clue how to lead the nation. If making a crisis to crisis constantly is their way of gaining American trust, they are sadly mistaken.
