I hate the loppet. I was so happy when it was cancelled last year for lack of snow. Why is it that all of the "Loppets" get to have the streets closed down and slow me up when I'm trying to get things done on a Saturday so they can nurture their fantasy that THEY DON"T LIVE IN A CITY. If you want to cross country ski down the middle of the street, move to a rural area. Likewise, if you want to let your dog run unleashed, move to a rural area. (i.e., expensive city-funded dog parks) Really tired of tax dollars being squandered by those of us who adjust to the limitations of urban living to pay for those of you who refuse.
