Obama says 2013 can be year of economic growth, but only if Washington stays out of the way

The primary factor in the stubbornly high unemployment rate is the 700,000 laid off government workers. 7,000 more just this past month. In other recessions, this didn't happen and the country recovered sooner.

Obviously at any level- local, state, or federal- more government and more regulation is not the route to prosperity. Neither is the failure to address debt. Mr. Obama does or should know this but if known he chooses to ignore it.

It's true what is stated, the economy will grow if Washington stays out of the way. That would have happened back in 2009, but Obama does not listen to what he says.

if only Obama would follow his own advice. There is so much gov't interference in business, they have to spend hundreds of billions just on costs of regulation!
