A Tom Petty cover!? Really?? Good lord, do your homework! Petty covered *her*, as she clearly explained before the song. Well, maybe not too clearly. :) Fairly well shocked you didn't know this Jon. One of her best known *original* songs off of her best album and one she's played virtually every time she's played here since that magical Entry show 25 years ago. And any review of Lu that characterizes "Pineola," "Lake Charles" and, especially, "Side of the Road" - one of her best 2 or 3 songs - as anything less than essential is, well, it's just wrong. "Real Live Bleeding Fingers..." is an OK song but it's not even in the same zip code as the upper echelon of her work. I've seen Lucinda over 40 times in a variety of locations and settings and this was one of her best local solo appearances. And who cares about her banter? For petes sake, this is one of the best songwriters in America performing at the top of her game! At least you didn't waste any time telling us what she was wearing.

Either the Sarurday show was a complete turnaround or Bream is off base again. Where was CR?
