The top team in college basketball this season has been a game of musical chairs. With no dominant team emerging, the run for No. 1 could be an exciting one.

Honestly, Minnesota should be in the #4 spot but this team is actually underperforming so far. 15-1 to 16-5. They have the potential to win 8 of the final 10 ... my bet is they go 5-5 and 6-4 at best. Wondering about Tubby's abilities as a coach.

The Gophers will end up 6th at best in an underachieving year because of poor game planning by the coaching staff and even worse coaching during the game. With the right person coaching this years team it could have finished in the top 3 or 4.

Northern Illinois and Dayton may be looking for a coach and could be interested in a father and son team presently coaching in Minnesota.

Tubby should be fired because he cannot win Big Ten games-his record speaks for itself. This was all predicted beautifully 6 years ago by a KY writer http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/story/10080776

Interesting that of the Gophers 5 losses, three have been to teams ranked #1 this year, all legitimately so. Who else has played three #1's? The Gophers had a chance to win 2 of those and Duke was unconcious shooting. One stinker against Northwestern. The Gophers are a good team.
