Super Bowl show prompts diva wars

On Sunday night, Beyonce will rock the Super Bowl. We know she has powerful pipes (even if she's lip-syncing) and can dazzle with her dance moves. But how does she stack up against Lady Gaga, Pink and Rihanna -- other big-voiced, big-spectacle pop divas coming to St. Paul this winter?

Yes we all know Beyonce can sing & dance & entertain, but her recent, publicity stunt if you will, makes her Super Bowl appearance irrelevant. She milked the inaugural controversy for all it was worth, when all she had to do is say that she was singing to her pre-recorded national anthem, the day after. Then she holds a press conference & sings it live, to what end? I guess the thing that really turned me off was that she said she didn't have time to rehearse with the Marine Corps. band, but has plenty of time to rehearse for the Super Bowl. I guess being paid trumps being patriotic.
