-13F in MSP? Yuck. There was nothing worse than being stuck inside with those crappy temps. Took the day off to hit the links here in Irvine, CA (temps in the mid-upper 70's).
@raineyroo: Cool story, bro
These temps are great for splitting wood, those frozen logs just "pop" apart when hit with the axe. Nothing worse than gloating about how you have it so much better than everybody else... except for maybe somebody who is envious of them, bro.
Just sitting here in shorts with the patio door open, doesn't feel bad at all, of course I am not in Minnesota.
agree, no1cares: firewood warms you twice! i wouldn't want summer all year round & 100+F temps all summer!
its amusing how people who are "stuck" inside their frozen tundra don't like comments from people living outside the tundra...even the poll of minnesota folks the other day in the Trib would rather have 100 degress as opposed what you are suffering today...
I'm not "stuck" in my frozen tundra, this weather doesn't bother me, nor will it keep me inside. Polls taken by paper or by anybody for that matter, can be slanted in any fashion they want them to be. Yes its cold, but it won't stop me from being outside. If people are suffering, then they should move to a more suitable climate for them.
Hey "lostinmpls"! Was that poll 100% accurate? Was it also 100% in favor of the 100 degrees? That poll doesn't represent EVERY Minnesotan dontcha knooooow!
I can't remember a single day I got to stay home from school because of "cold". Either they're smarter now about calling off school or they're a bunch of wusses. And yeah, I've got no problem heading out for a morning jog either - it's called proper clothing!
