Very nice to see this team finally getting some press! What they are doing is incredible, and I hope they continue to receive accolades in this publication. If you want to watch some really good hockey, head down to the U this weekend and cheer the women on as they face UMD. Go Gophers!

I hope they keep improving and go undefeated all season. If they play great defense and keep winning they are worthy of the big time accomplishment. Congrats Gophers. Go, go Minnesota. Not a cheeseface for miles and miles.

Although the team may not have had a "ton of adversity", it doesn't mean the team hasn't been challenged. Obviously every team they play has been gunning for them. Everyone always wants to beat the reigning champion and to play their hardest against them, Plus, rivals like Wisconsin, UMD, and NoDak (you think the Lamoureux twins don't badly want to beat the Gophers?) would love nothing more than to beat them, especially if it meant ending their winning streak. It seems right now the women's Gopher hockey is just that much better than everyone else. I, for one, am just enjoying the great season the women's hockey team is having! Keep it going ladies! You're awesome!

If no one cares why did they comment? Lets give some credit to the ladies and coaches for having a great season. It would be nice to see them run the table but there will be tough games ahead. Adversity builds character and this team has a lot of character and should be able to handle it. Solid defense, above average goaltending and lots of speed on the offensive side. To have a 26-0 record is just outstanding and shows this team comes out every game ready to play. Go Gophs!!!!

I get over 70 cable TV channels, and last night I could not find anything on worth watching. I would certainly welcome watching the women's gopher hockey team game. I get a real kick out of the people who bad mouth women's sports. They are truly clueless and classless individuals.

Oh oh ranger, looks like the thought police are active and censoring even your sports posts. Oddly, posts defending the women were also removed. Our media is like a Ministry of Truth! Anyway, you were too harsh on the team,---> too bad the Vikes dont get the same protections from posters mad at their team ;o)

Nice to go to USCHO website and see two gopher logos to reflect the #1 men's and women's hockey rankings.
