OK guys. Good idea. Just don't leave Steamer hangin.

All that the "Steamer" did was get the sleepy Clippers all riled up to win the game. The "Steamer" is not a tough guy and shouldn't pretend to be. Instead of focusing on being 'tougher', just focus on winning. I thought the Wolves were the better team until the Steamer hit Hill with a cheap shot. There's a difference between being tough and being stupid. Just knocking another player down is stupid.

Have we ever seen Pek get mad? That would be a sight to behold...

@slamman: I have yet to hear anyone call Steamer a tough guy. He probably isn't. Maybe the Wolves players who mostly seem like nice guys should just go out and say nice things to the other team, joke with them, and hug them at times if possible, so maybe the other team doesn't shove the poor defenseless Wolves all over the floor and beat them on the scoreboard. Get real would you please.

I really like the idea of 6'11, 290 lb Pek the mad man getting cranked up and tossing guys around. Not many who could stop him. Toughen Wolves and get back in the playoff hunt. Win vs the Minneapolis Lakers and go on a roll.

Speaking of, did you ever stop to think how ridiculous the "Lakers" is as a nickname for a team from Los Angeles, which is basically located in the middle of a desert? Who's brilliant idea was it not to change the nickname back when they moved to LA?

Thats what I said yesterday. They need to be thougher. If you watch that play again, the only guy who came to the rescue was JJ Barrea, the rest were watching like scare little puppies. We have to many soft players and the refs see that. I don't think Barnes, would do that to Pek, the results would be different.

Slam - That wasn't cheap shot on Hill. Steamer got drilled by Barnes a moment earlier. Hill went for a rebound and accidently through his elbow into Steamer's face while Steamer was going in the air...and Steamer reacted poorly, only after the second elbow. It wasn't a blantant cheap shot at all.

Big Pek needs to come off the bench in that situation. Steam is just that - a vapor with nothing solid behind it. Getting tough is going to be the biggest challenge of all for such a soft, fragile team that can't stay healthy from week ti wee (should i say "weak"?). Looking down the line at the remaining schedule, the Wolves, and i try hard to love them - will be lucky to get 10 wins from here on.
