Biden said lawmakers can take steps "that have virtually zero impact on your Second Amendment right to own a weapon for both self-defense and recreation but can save some lives." Doing that, he said, "seems to be a no-brainer." *** Lawmaker's will say 'not good enough!' They'll only pass legislation that can guarantee an end to mass killings. (And every days' news makes that appear more unlikely.) As with immigration reform legislation, which can only proceed when the borders are guaranteed to be leakproof, any exception to 'magic bullet' certainty would serve to ivalidate potential new gun legislation. Not to be extreme but, y'know...all or nothing.
