Nice game. Nice win.Great rebound game. Nebraska is the worst team in the big ten though. Gophers can hopefully take this as a confidence builder.

Good for this team to remember they can play. Good game. Imagine the score if Gallegos wasn't shooting the lights out for Nebraska.

"but now I'm working on my free throws every day, so if I get put in that situation again, the outcome will be different."...now?

If being overwhelming against an underwhelming opponent works for him, so be it. Whatever gets a confidence-lacking player going is a good thing.

I’ll take this win…doesn’t matter how ‘easy’ an opponent Nebraska is, we won and did it decisively. Didn’t see much of the game but what I did see of it I didn’t see the sloppy play, the turnovers etc that has plagued this team lately. If they do the same against Iowa and play this tough against Sparty I think we have righted the ship! Go Gophers!

Seriously, you take nothing from this game other than a win. Nebraska is bad. If Tubby puts any stock into this game and how his players beat an inferior team, then it is no wonder the Gophers are struggling. Do you think the next team is going to be bothered by the press which is the only way Williams can succeed? This is the Big Ten, the answer is NO!!!!

Is it possible that Rodney Williams gets a little shy against the prototypical Big 10 front court? He seems intimidated when he faces the uncalled pushing, shoving, grabbing, elbowing, hacking play that is normal in the league. I would love to see this effort from him the rest of the way.

.....as long as Tubby is "nice" to the boys and doesn't throw them under the bus from here on out they should be "tough enough" to play the remaining part of their schedule. Win or lose, as long as Tubby doesn't hurt their feelings by calling them out for not playing well the rest of the way, this should be a successful season!

"Williams...discards 'old me'"....Somebody needs to tell the kid it's a 12-step program.

I'm glad that Rodney was able to restore some confidence with last night's win. His challenge will be to maintain his newly energized self against teams not hailing from Nebraska or Pennsylvania. To put it bluntly, this win does nothing for me. There are 10 games remaining in the regular season, and in my estimation, there are five games we should expect to win, and five we would be expected to lose. You want to make a statement, Gophers? Beat MSU or OSU on the road. Beat Indiana at home. Even beating Purdue or Iowa on the road would be an unexpected surprise. Show a good opponent you are to be reckoned with no matter where the game is held. Only when that begins to happen with some regularity will Tubby be doing his job.
