Very nice game by the guys. Destroyed Nebraska on the boards and only had five turnovers the entire game. Especially happy to see Rodney get involved early and often. Welcome back. If Nebraska shoots the ball like they normally do, we win this one by 30. Bring on Iowa!

"Get their swagger back"....I wouldn't go that far. How about "Stop the bleeding"?

Oh, and I'm glad I got to see a possession where Mo Walker went up against Andre Almeida for Nebraska. Almeida might be the one guy in college basketball heavier than Mo. There were about 700 pounds of center in the paint when Mo got the ball on the low block. Pretty entertaining.

I agree with neilgd. Let's get real, the Gophers got a patzy to play with an won. No celebration here, until they beat a couple of quality teams let's not forget all the problems that were exposed.

I'm taking the rope off my neck, stepping off the stool and putting away the razor blades...for another game at least

Is there a more moronic, overused word than "swagger" to describe a sports team?

Tubby's team won a game that they were supposed to win, good for him & the team. There were many positives in the game for the Gophers, but there are 3 glaring opportunities for then to work on. First is our continued lack of defense in the 3pt. area. Second is Mbakwe's free throw shooting (can't someone work with him on that?). And finally, can we do something to keep Coleman from throwing garbage at the hoop when he has a defender(s) on him, the hoop is not that big Joe.

Fortunately for the Gophers, Nebraska fields a basketball team. While it was nice to see Rodney play well, the FG defense was alarmingly absent. The best thing that can be said about tonight's game is that we didn't lose, and no injuries were suffered.

That is NOT a good Nebraska team. Iowa will be a much better barometer. Still, a win is better than another loss.

This was not much of a test.. it was an easy win. Nebraska one 1 real shooter. Who put a fire under Rodney.. about time. but it is easy to look good when playing a lousy team
