Apparently Sack is among the legion of supremely uninformed liberals who actually think Sarah Palin said this. The quote he is mocking can in fact be attributed to Tina Fey who was PRETENDING to be Sarah Palin. (head in hands). Sarah Palin's quote was "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska". Man this country is really going downhill when even the editorial cartoonists are ignorant of the issue they are trying to make fun of.

Wow! What is she going to do now to make money? It seems her shtick is up. Didn't hear from her during the whole election. What's up? Wasn't she the Tparty darling?

Re:"Didn't hear from her during the whole election." - She did not want to be associated with Romney and the establishment Republicans who hate the Tea party more than you liberals do. If you remember, the establishment worked to shut out the Ron Paulites and the Tea party at the convention.

"Sack, let's see one on Hillary Clinton tomorrow" There was one on Bill and Hilary in the Strib yesterday, which garnered a couple negative comments from the right. You folks sure love to dish it out, but you can't take it.....

This day took a lot longer to get here than I ever thought it would.

Tina Fey was making obvious fun of Sarah Palin's utterly laughable statement in her disastrous interview with Katie Couric that having only a "narrow maritime border" between Russia and Alaska gave her relevant foreign policy experience to be a heartbeat away from the presidency of the United States. So, in a way, the cartoon makes the same joke Tina Fey did, based on something Sarah Palin really, truly did say.

SARAH PALIN was completely and blissfully unqualified to be a heartbeat away from the Oval Office in 2008 and she's even less qualified today: more reactionary, more intractable, more thoughtlessly flippant, more defiantly and proudly ignorant of America's social dynamic and political landscape, and even less knowledgeable and interested in world affairs than she was five years ago. Sarah Palin didn't merely leave Fox News, she leaves behind any reason for anyone to ever take notice of her again. Buh-bye, Sarah.

"There was one on Bill and Hilary in the Strib yesterday, which garnered a couple negative comments from the right. You folks sure love to dish it out, but you can't take it....." That's conservatism for you. No sense of humor and a deep-seeded hatred of everything and everyone.
