That's all he gets? He should be put in jail for life with no parole. He stole continually from his victims with zero remorse while living like a king! Hopefully someone in jail gives him just punishment and it's not a Madoff type arrangement with a cozy cell away from general population!
No wonder these Republican millionaires fight to keep their taxes low when they have expenses like these.
It is unbelieveable just how many intelligent people succumb to these rip offs. It happens over and over again. People never learn from others mistakes.
People that have that kind of money and invest it into these crazy schemes don't deserve to have that kind of money in the first place.

oldmannickel has a point. There are plenty of established and reputable places to invest your money. Why would a person entrust his money to an acquaintance- unless, of course, said person believed he would be receiving returns far greater than one would expect from a legitimate investment.

Does he have the 5.7 million to give back, or was that what he was ordered to do? The sentence seems pretty light considering the huge amount of fraud dollars involved.
