"The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday swiftly..." Heh, heh...swiftly. Nice choice of words, AP. Being cute, I see.

I listened to the answers he gave. He took the path of least resistance basically telling every member, whether republican or democrat, what they wanted to hear. I just lost all respect for Kerry.

In 1997, John Kerry warned that Saddam Hussein was a threat with chemical weapons. "We must recognize that there is no indication that Saddam Hussein has any intention of relenting. So we have an obligation of enormous consequence, an obligation to guarantee that Saddam Hussein cannot ignore the United Nations. He cannot be permitted to go unobserved and unimpeded toward his horrific objective of amassing a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction. " Nov. 9, 1997 in a speech to the Senate. While running for President in 2004, Kerry condemned Bush for "lying" about Iraq's WMDs, and said he was tricked by George Bush into believing Iraq had WMDs. Clearly, John Kerry is a liar. So he will be a natural fit with the Obama administration.

callmeron, wanting to know about happened to chemical weapons Hussein was known to have but were accounted for were legitimate concerns. The Bush admin went beyond to tells about imminent threats of mushroom clouds, aerial drones, mobile bio-weapons labs and ties to Al-Queda they knew were lies of doubted by the intel agencies yet presented as rock solid.

The newspaper called him a decorated war hero. He won three purple hearts, two of which he nominated himself. Check with the swift boat people to find out who are the real hero's.

Gotta love having another 1%'er traveling the world representing the USA. Where is the outcry from liberals? Not only is he wealthy, but he earned none of it.

As a conservative I support Kerry as Sec. of State, but I am confused how liberals are OK with a guy that has enormous wealth (married into it - never earned a dime) and refuses to pay his fair share of taxes being in such a position of power.
