Yeo sounds like Gardenhire, you guys never talk about how good a guy is in the locker room with the guys. The fact is after 5 games he has been awful and even he knows it. If after 20-25 games he is still playing like this, the Wild are in deep trouble with 1 scoring line and and a slew of inexperience inept blue liners who leave opposing forwards open all over the ice and don't seem to know where there supposed to be. Defense is not that tough, cover your guy, get the puck out of the zone and to the guys that can score goals. So far Suter has done none of the above. Its a short season, its already over 10 per cent done.

What has Yeo ever accomplished in the NHL? He started out hot last year and coached the team into mediocrity. Thus far he is no better than Todd Richards.

Yo Yeo- No, its not too early to panic. As Don reports, the season is already 10 percent gone.

Good piece, Chip. I will say this: In a month, he and Gilby will be one of the leagues best and most productive defensive tandems. Mark my words.

Suter is 4 games into a 13-year contract, so yes, it is too early to panic. If they don't get much done in this 48-game season, oh well. Parise and Suter came here in part because of the future, not the present.

So Suter has historically been a good defenseman in Nashville's system. The Wild haven't had a real good defensman in either Richard's or Yeo's systems. So maybe Yeo's system "stinks"?

Suter has been on ice for 11 of 15 goals?!? That's it?? Well then, let's crown him!!

Let's call it like it is. Suter's numbers aren't great. But, if Wild had more than 1 'major league level line' for offense, the puck wouldn't be in Wild's third of the rink 2/3 of the game. Same goes for Backstrom. He's people get down on Backstop but he's facing TONS of shots for an NHL level club. Those aren't coming from the other side of the rink. They're in Wild's/ Backstrom' grill 'cause only line #1 keeps the puck on the other side of the rink!

I guess someone should have told Suter he needed to earn his 98 million in the first 5 games. Did people honestly think we were cup contenders this year? a playoff team yes. We have more cap room this offseason to add another solid piece or two and bring up the likes of Coyle, and Zucker. Look at the bigger picture people.
