The GOP continues to hold America and our credit rating hostage for its petty political quarrels instead of working to arrive at solutions. They caused the drop in our rating last time by refusing to do what they had done seven or more times under Bush: Raise the debt limit. The righties seem to forget that they LOST big time in November. The voters won't forget. These guys are toast in 2014.

Hopefully this will work. Now if we could get rid of the propaganda surrounding Congress and the White House we could all get back to a "normal" life.

They are continuing to disregard the voters on this. ************ In what way? remember only 51 percent of the voters voted for Obama, and that is only about 20 percent of the population of the nation.

@fireight41...."remember oly 51 percent of the voers voted for Obama", etc... Sir, in the USA,presidents are elected by the Electoral Collete..not by popular vote as you suggest. The Electoral College favored Obama by 61+ percet. Those aren't peanuts.

Do you lefties actually believe that America needs a treadmill for shrimp. Can't you be honest enough to say enough is enough let's control spending. Is it necessary for the government to study the habits of the tsetse fly. Aren't you honest enough to agree that spending is out of control? You actually want Americans to support the boondoggles mentioned above with their earnings? Those mentioned and hundreds of others are being foisted on hard working Americans. How about that bridge to no where, how is that working out for you? Let's stop the hyperbole and cut what is not NECESSARY.
