HOW COME THEY DIDN'T SIGN IT IMMEDIATELY?!?!? People are suffering!!!! oh wait, no FEMA has the budget still, I guess it's not so dire... where is all the hate at how long this is taking again? Remember all the hate when the republicans wanted to study it before signing it immediately?

"Sandy roared up the East Coast Oct. 29 and was blamed for 140 deaths and billions of dollars in property damage" Last reports that I saw says damage in the 20-30 billion range. So where is all the other money of the 50.5 Billion going?

Why is the federal Govt involved in paying "victims"? Where is the insurance companies, of all those people living ON THE SHORE of an ocean? Why arent those people being held responsible for their own damage/recovery? Of course, its the cradle to grave Govt coming to the rescue- at the tax payers expense. I had storm damage last year, and guess what? The Govt DID NOT HELP me- my insurance company did, because I have Insurance. What a concept.

If you read "other" news sources, you'll soon learn that IF Obama signs this "pork-filled" bill, he will spend ALL of the extra money he has raised by taxing the "wealthy". However, PLEASE, do NOT trust what I'm telling you. Research it yourself at "whatever" news source you trust/believe.

Seriously? Over $50B for a few houses built in harms way, next to the Ocean that I'm assuming have Homeowners Insurance?? I want to see a breakdown of these so-called 'expenses'. Like how many kickbacks are there and who is getting them.

So the next time a F5 tornado blows thru Texas or Oklahoma I'll bet the relief package won't be 3 months late, and I'll also bet 179 republicans won't vote against it in the house. dated 1/28/13

Is it just me? Or does it seem that all the money goes to the East Coast. For example: All stock market investments go to Wall Street in NY City. Now this money grabs being taken from the Taxpayers and sent to who knows who or what in New Jersey. This is an OUTRAGE!

Great. Politicians preen, voters re-elect said politicians. Cost to be paid by next generation (kids and grandkids) who have no say in the process. Hell of a way to run a country.

Now we will hit a $1 trillion budget deficit for the FIFTH YEAR in a row. All years during which Obama was President. Imagine that.
