Might be best to look at fuel cell tech with hydrogen as the fuel...
Nice thing about fuel cells is... They can use any hydrogen-Carbon based fuel (Hydrogen, gasoline, methanol, kerosene, etc, etc...)
Why not look into cars that run on water which already exists and government make them disappear.
Isn't hydrogen pretty unstable? It would make me a little nervous to drive around in something that could make a potent bomb.

Geez, you guys know so much about these technologies and how they should do it I'm surprised you don't work in the industry..or not.
I've been looking at these hydrogen car articles and have yet to see how they would work in cold weather areas. If they emit water vapor, wouldn't that make a lot of "black ice" on the highways in winter? This looks like a warm weather alternative only.
