In August 2011, I went on an overnight camping trip, west of the Cities. That night, we built a camp fire. The next day, when we got home, the house was warm. Now I know why.

"based on a computer model and the Northern Hemisphere" Yeah, that line along destroys all credibility of this "article" or study upon which it is based. The Al Gore craze was based on computer models too...sadly, every single one of them has failed to predict a proper outcome AND every single one of them fails worse when actual data of temps is plugged back into them to see how close they would have predicted the real temps that were measured. It's garbage. It does not happen. It's hysteria.

These heat islands created by big cities is a major reason that the global warming hoax is still around. Weather reporting stations have had heat islands build around them for decades giving a false impression of warming everywhere. I live about 40 miles NW of Mpls and it can easily be 15 degrees colder out here.

Guffman- Scientist Al Gore? Were MLK or Lincoln scientists for ethics and sociology? Sarah Palin an professor of economics? Please don't mix political activism with science and reason. Al Gore simply cited the science. I dare you to do the same.

GEE you mean to tell me weather is more complicated than we know :) Actually climate is easier to predict. Like betting on total snowfall for a winter versus a particular Tuesday.
