Absolutely hated Jim Harbaugh as a Bear. Cocky without reason. I really respect him and his brother as coaches, though. Fans have been spoiled with great Super Bowls as of late, and this matchup has a chance to top them all. Good column, Jim.

Either one could have been hired by the Vikings but they chose Childress and Frazier. How's that working out?

dch6859 > You had a choice to say something meaningful. How's your choice to say something totally idiotic working out? Yeah, big thumbs down is right. Great column, and only reaffirms that the Vikings organization is headed in the right direction with a man of integrity and modesty with Frazier.

"Harbaugh and Frazier have much in common. They were briefly teammates on the Bears of the mid-1980s, when Frazier was a star cornerback trying to recover from a knee injury, and Harbaugh a rookie quarterback." Not true. Frazier retired in 1986...Harbaugh was drafted in 1987. Do your research.

Good article and interesting comparisons between the two coaches. Harbaugh has the guts to switch Quarterbacks and look for an upgrade or a spark at that position, Frazier should pay particular attention to how that worked out. Otherwise, the only way to get rid of Ponder will be to get rid of Frazier AND Ponder.

Really zataway? Niners in NFC Championship game last year and Super Bowl this year and I'm the idiot? Harbaugh has forgotten more than Frazier will ever know about Coaching.

I think the jury is still out on this coach. Until he shows the grapefruits in a big game that REALLY matters (aside from the recent playoff game) I still don't consider him an elite NFL caliber coach.
